CVAP Counselling in Squamish, British Columbia and Online

CVAP Funded Counselling

CVAP Funded Counselling

I’m an approved CVAP provider and bill the program directly. If you’ve been through a violation, or you’re a family member or witness, the Crime Victim Assistance Program may cover counselling sessions with me. Once you’ve booked, just email me your CVAP claim number and we’ll take care of the rest. If you haven’t applied yet and aren’t sure where to start, reach out. I’m happy to point you in the right direction. For more information, please go here

How Does Billing Work

If you’ve been affected by a violent crime in BC, the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) may cover the cost of counselling. Once CVAP approves your claim, they’ll let you know how many sessions are covered. When you book, just send me your CVAP claim number and I’ll bill CVAP directly, so there’s nothing for you to pay upfront or submit afterwards. If you haven’t applied yet, I’m happy to talk through the process, or you can reach CVAP at cvap@gov.bc.ca

How We Work Together

Therapy shaped around you, your needs, and where you are.

  • Standard Sessions — 60 Minutes | $160

    IN-PERSON
Our standard session for ongoing therapy.

The standard session length, and the space where most of our work together will happen. 60 minutes offers a steady container for the ongoing work of therapy, whether that's talking through what's present for you this week, working with a part that's come forward, or moving into somatic and experiential work as it arises.

    LOCATIONS

    • Katharina Bleinis Counselling, Squamish, BC
    • Shivani Wells Therapy Group, Vancouver, BC
    • Lavender Grove Counselling, North Vancouver, BC

  • Extended Sessions — 90 Minutes | $240

    IN-PERSON / VIRTUAL
    For reprocessing and deeper processing.

These longer sessions are set aside for reprocessing work, including EMDR and somatic reprocessing. This kind of work needs time to settle in, move through what comes up, and return to steady ground before we close. Ninety minutes gives us room to do that without rushing.

  • Virtual Sessions — 60 or 90 Minutes | $160

    VIRTUAL
    Therapy from wherever you are.

All sessions, including extended ones, are also available virtually, so you can access support from wherever you are. Whether we're working together in person or online, the same care and pacing apply, and virtual sessions are just as suited to somatic and experiential work as in person ones.

Virtual sessions are offered in both the standard 60 minute length and the extended 75 minute option, so you can choose whichever fits what you need for that particular session.
